Premium Ecology Range

A range of Premium quality habitats suitable for Nature Restoration and rapid Biodiversity net gain projects through habitat supplement intervention. These habitats have been designed and manufactured using durable and long-life materials, which meet the monitoring requirements of BNG projects, essential for long term habitat restoration.

They are manufactured in our UK workshop, from sustainably sourced and recycled materials, and have a 20 year structural guarantee. We use recycled farm plastics, FSC®-accredited duraply timber and premium screw and metal furniture construction to produce this range of nesting and refuge units for a wide range of bird, mammal, invertebrate, reptile and amphibian species.

 

The range currently comprises nesting boxes and habitats/refuges for a wide range of species...

  • Tawny and barn owl. (Little owl on request), via our multi species large cavity nester which is also suitable for kestrel, stock dove, mandarin duck. 
  • Passerines, including blue tit, great tit, coal tit, marsh tit, pied flycatcher, tree sparrow, house sparrow, redstart, blackbird, robin and wren
  • Solitary bee and small invertebrate nesters, Reptile, amphibian and small mammal refugia 
  • Small mammal / dormouse boxes 
  • Red squirrel boxes

Q. How many boxes would I need on a piece of land to make a real difference?
A. In general, One hectare of land will benefit from: 
2 x Multi-species nester
15 x Dormouse boxes
15 x smaller cavity nesters, of varying types (Baffle, Basic and Curve)

We can also design and develop specific mitigation assets according to site / location and requirements.
